Julia in her happy place, trying not to lose her hat
I grew up on the coast of New York before moving to a North Carolina beach town for college, so before living in Denver I had never lived more than 20 minutes from the Atlantic ocean. All of the beach pictures you see on this website are ones that I took myself in different places that I've lived! All of the photos in my office are ones that I took too. One of them is from when I studied abroad!
If you were trying to find me in the wild, the best places to look would be my favorite local bakery, a movie theater, a D&D table, or too many hours into a video game. (That being said, the best way to reach me is usually by email.)
I also have two cats, Merlin and Nova, who are guaranteed to make (disruptive) appearances whenever I work from home. Sorry in advance for the interruption!
About the office
Cozy Couch Counseling is meant to be just that: cozy! The office is designed to help you feel right at home with a tool box of fidgets, art supplies, pillows, and a blanket all available to you.
To help getting here be almost as comfortable as being here, Cozy Couch is located in Empire Park off of Colorado Blvd near I-25, has an RTD bus stop on site, and a spacious parking lot that's free for two hours.
You may also see (or hear) a golden retriever named Juni around the office when you're here. While she isn't employed by Cozy Couch and unfortunately won't be joining us for sessions, if you see her feel free to say hi!

it really is quite cozy, but no need to take it from me; come try it for yourself!
